Central Entertainment Bureau (CEB) is one of Ireland’s most experienced music and entertainment agencies, providing professional entertainment to pubs, hotels, festivals, promoters, corporate clients and private events throughout Ireland and beyond.

With roots in the Irish music industry stretching back more than four decades, CEB combines the personal knowledge of a traditional booking agency with the scale, systems and experience needed to manage thousands of live performances every year. Today, the company supplies in excess of 9,000 shows annually, working with venues and performers across a wide range of musical styles, budgets and event types.

CEB’s approach is straightforward: match the right entertainer with the right venue or event, keep communication clear, and build long-term relationships that work for both client and artist. The company has developed enduring relationships with Irish publicans, hotel groups, event organisers, festivals and major corporate brands, while continuing to support new and emerging talent.

Over the years CEB has supplied entertainment for clients and events including Diageo, Murphy Brewery, Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland, Intel, DHL, Clockwork Management, the Ryder Cup, Irish Open and European Open, as well as venues throughout Ireland, mainland Europe and the United States.

From a solo singer in a local bar to large-scale corporate entertainment, festival programming, touring artists and bespoke event production, CEB offers one experienced point of contact backed by decades of hands-on music industry knowledge.

Working with CEB

Artists & Clients

Central Entertainment Bureau works with both sides of the live entertainment industry: the artists who perform and the clients who create the opportunities for them to perform. We believe the strongest working relationships are built on professionalism, transparency and mutual respect.

For Artists

CEB represents and books a broad range of professional entertainers, from solo performers and duos to bands, tribute acts, DJs and specialist performers. Our booking team works to create regular opportunities, develop long-term venue relationships and make the administration around live performance as simple as possible.

We understand the realities of working as a professional musician because CEB has always been closely connected to the performing side of the industry. Clear information, reliable communication and prompt payment are central to the way we work.

I’m an Artist

For Clients

For venues, hotels, promoters, festivals and corporate clients, CEB provides access to a large and varied roster of professional entertainment together with the experience to recommend acts that genuinely suit the room, audience, budget and occasion.

Our clients can use CEB as a single point of contact for individual bookings or complete entertainment programmes. We can assist with artist selection, rates, scheduling, block bookings, replacements, event planning and ongoing entertainment management.

Payments & Administration

CEB operates a structured electronic payment system for entertainers. Payments are made on the 10th of each month, or the next business day where applicable. AIB-to-AIB transfers are generally received immediately. Relevant terms and bank information forms can be made available to registered entertainers.

Our aim is to remove unnecessary friction from live entertainment booking and allow clients and artists to concentrate on what matters most: delivering a great night.

Events & Hospitality

Corporate & Special Events

Central Entertainment Bureau has supplied entertainment for major corporate clients, sporting events, hospitality programmes and private functions throughout Ireland and internationally.

Our corporate work has included entertainment supplied for organisations and brands such as Diageo, Murphy Brewery, Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland, Intel, DHL and Clockwork Management. CEB has also supplied music in connection with major sporting occasions including the Ryder Cup, Irish Open and European Open.

Every event is different. Some require a single act for a reception or dinner; others require multiple stages, performers across several days, specialist production support or a complete entertainment programme. CEB can source, schedule and coordinate the appropriate artists while providing one central point of contact for the client.

Because of the breadth of our artist network, we can provide entertainment across many genres and formats, from acoustic and traditional music to party bands, DJs, headline performers and bespoke productions.

Our focus is always on suitability, reliability and delivery: the right act, in the right place, at the right time, supported by an experienced team.

Sessions From Oblivion

Sessions From Oblivion was created during the COVID period as a way of giving new and emerging artists a professional platform at a time when live opportunities had been dramatically reduced.

Created by Andrew Bass and recorded at Oblivion Recording Studios, the series developed into a partnership with RTÉ 2FM, supported through funding from RTÉ and Coimisiún na Meán. Each session gives artists the opportunity to perform and record in a professional studio environment, with filmed performances made available through RTÉ 2FM’s online platforms.

More than 100 acts have now taken part in Sessions From Oblivion. From the outset, the project has placed particular emphasis on diversity of gender, geography and genre, with the aim of providing meaningful exposure to artists from across Ireland and across the musical spectrum.

Behind the Sessions

The series has involved a dedicated production team including resident engineer Yanko Genov, who has recorded every act featured in the project; project and production manager Lesley Kane; and Gráinne, who has contributed to set design and edits the accompanying Tips and Tricks material for developing artists.

Sessions From Oblivion received recognition through IBRO nominations in 2023 and continues to develop, with a seventh series in preparation.

At its heart, Sessions From Oblivion is about giving talented artists a serious platform, high-quality production and the chance to be heard by a wider audience.
